Ant Digital Technologies has launched ZOLOZ Know Your Agent (KYA) to verify and govern AI agents, Hong Kong Commercial Daily (HKCD) reported.
The tool takes ZOLOZ’s existing KYC and know-your-business (KYB) checks and applies them to agents across their full life cycle.
The company unveiled KYA at Hong Kong FinTech Week x StartmeupHK 2026.
At the same event, it presented what it calls an “AI agent super factory”. This set of tools covers how agents are built, used and kept secure.
Li Shiwei, President of International Business at Ant Digital, said Agentar builds the agents and ZOLOZ verifies them.
Bian Zhuoqun, President of Blockchain Business, said that once agents act for users, knowing who they are will become a key issue.
Firms will also need clear limits on what each agent may do. In addition, each agent’s actions should be traceable, with someone held to account for them.
CEO Zhao Wenbiao said firms may grow from a few agents to dozens or hundreds.
At that stage, the task of building, running and managing them at scale becomes a new problem. In his view, this is why Ant Digital is building the agent factory.
Meanwhile, CTO Yan Ying named three hurdles that agents face in real business use. These are a semantic gap, a lack of trust and costs that are hard to control.
To tackle them, the firm uses knowledge graphs and safeguards that run while agents work. It also routes tasks to suitable models and uses large models tailored to each industry.
