General information
Acting on the basis of article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the Federal Act concerning the Protection of Personal Data (Datenschutzgesetz, DSG), every person has the right to have their privacy protected and to have their personal data protected from misuse. The operators of these web pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with data protection legislation as well as this privacy policy.
We work in partnership with our hosting providers and make every effort to ensure that databases are protected as effectively as possible from unauthorised access, loss, misuse and fraud.
We would like to point out that the online transmission of data (such as via email) may be exposed to security gaps.
By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of your data as described below. In principle, you may use this website without having to register. When you visit the website, data on your visit is stored on the server for statistical purposes without this data being directly related to your person. This data may include the pages or name of the file accessed, and the date and time. Personal data, in particular your name, address or email address, are only collected on a voluntary basis. Data is not passed on to third parties without your consent.
Processing of personal data
Personal data is all information relating to an identified or identifiable person. A data subject is a person whose personal data is processed. Processing includes any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and process used, in particular, storage, notification, acquisition, collection, deletion, saving, amending, destruction and use of personal data.
We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection legislation. In addition, to the extent and insofar as the EU GDPR is applicable, we process personal data in accordance with the following legal bases in connection with Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR:
- lit. a) the data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes;
- lit. b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;
- lit. c) processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject;
- lit. d) processing is necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person;
- lit. f) processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child. Legitimate interests include, in particular, business interest in being able to provide website information security, the enforcement of legal claims, and compliance with Swiss law.
We process personal data for the duration that is necessary for the respective purpose. Where longer storage arises due to legal obligations the processing of personal data is limited accordingly.
Cookie privacy policy
This website uses cookies. These are small text files that enable the saving of specific, user-related information on the user’s device while they are using the website. In particular, cookies enable us to determine the frequency of use and number of users of the website, and to analyse page usage behaviour and design our offer to be more customer-friendly. Cookies are stored beyond the end of a browser session and can be recalled when you visit the site again. If you wish to prevent this, you should set your internet browser to refuse cookies.
For many services, and especially in the case of tracking, you can lodge a general objection against the use of cookies for online marketing purposes via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. Furthermore, you can block cookies by disabling them in the browser’s settings. Please note that in this case you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
Services provided by third parties
This website uses Google Maps to embed maps, Google Invisible reCAPTCHA to protect against bots and spam and YouTube to embed videos.
These services, provided by the American company Google LLC, use cookies, among other things, and as a result data is transmitted to Google in the USA, whereby we assume that no personal tracking takes place solely through the use of our website.
Google is committed to ensuring adequate data protection in accordance with the American/European and American/Swiss Privacy Shields.
Further information can be found in the Google privacy policy.
Newsletter privacy policy
If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address as well as information which allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive this newsletter. Further data is not collected. We use this data exclusively to send you the requested information and we do not pass it on to third parties.
You may revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.
Privacy policy regarding the comment feature on this website
When you use the comment function on this website, information in addition to your comment is saved, including the time the comment was created, your email address and, if you do not post anonymously, your username.
Storage of your IP address
Our comment function saves the IP addresses of users who write comments. Since we do not check comments on our site before they are posted, we need this data in order to be able to proceed against the author in the event of legal violations such as insults or propaganda.

As a user of the site, you may subscribe to comments after registering. You will receive a confirmation email to check that you are the owner of the email address provided. You can unsubscribe from this feature at any time via a link provided in the email.
Chargeable services
In order to provide chargeable services, we ask for additional data, such as payment information, so that we can process your order. We store this data in our systems until the statutory retention periods have expired.
Google Analytics privacy policy
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the person responsible for data processing on this website is outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Analytics data processing is carried out by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited are hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
The statistics obtained in this way enable us to improve our services and make them more interesting for you as a user. This website uses Google Analytics to analyse visitor flows across all devices. This is carried out via a user ID (Google Universal Analytics). If you have a Google user account, you can deactivate the cross-device analysis of your usage in the Google settings under “My data”, “Personal data”.
The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 sent. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The IP address provided by your browser in the framework of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google. We would point out to you that Google Analytics has been expanded on this website by the code “_anonymizeIp();”, in order to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses. Through the use of this tool, IP addresses are processed in shortened form, thus making it impossible to associate them with a specific person. If the data collected about you can be linked to a person, this will be excluded immediately and the personal data will be deleted immediately.
The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, compile reports regarding website activity, and provide other services to the website operator related to website and internet usage. For the exceptional cases in which personal data are transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework .
Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. You may prevent the use of cookies by selecting the corresponding setting in your browser; however, we would like to inform you that this may prevent you from fully utilising all functions provided by this website. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie on your use of the website (including your IP address), and also prevent the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available via the following link: Deactivate Google Analytics.
You can also prevent the use of Google Analytics by clicking on this link: Deactivate Google Analytics. This saves a so-called opt-out cookie on your data carrier, which prevents the processing of personal data by Google Analytics. Please note that if you delete all cookies on your device, these opt-out cookies will also be deleted i.e. you will have to set the opt-out cookies again if you want to continue to prevent this form of data collection. Opt-out cookies are set per browser and computer/device and must therefore be activated separately for each browser, computer or other device.
