2 Fintech Startups Among Top 10 Startups at Alibaba’s Global Pitch Competition
by Fintech News Hong Kong January 27, 2021Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund’s (AEF) JUMPSTARTER 2021 Global Pitch Competition has announced their list of top ten startups where two fintech startups, IPification and FOMO Pay, managed to snag a spot each.
JUMPSTARTER is a not-for-profit initiative in collaboration with Cyberport and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) that provides a platform for entrepreneurs to jump start their dreams in Hong Kong focused on showcasing startups and providing high-impact networking opportunities.
The four core industry that JUMPSTARTER focuses on are fintech, deep tech, smart city and retail.
These top ten startups will have the opportunity to be among the final two winners who will bag investments of up to US$4 million.

The company is improving mobile authentication and user experience without compromising security and privacy through IPificiation: mobile users can be easily authenticated via their Public IP address. The Singapore-based digital payment processing platform and digital banking solution provider enables digital transformation for banks, telecoms and brands in emerging markets spanning Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa. FOMO Pay’s partners includes mVISA, WeChat, Grab, NETS, ICBC, OCBC, Citibank and SingTel.
