Chocolate Finance has launched its cash management platform in Hong Kong, offering users annual returns of 3.8% on their first HK$100,000 and 3.5% on the next HK$200,000.
The Singapore-headquartered fintech said its Chocolate Advantage Programme guarantees the stated returns on the first HK$300,000.
If the underlying portfolio generates returns below the stated rates, the company will make up the difference, subject to programme terms and conditions.
The programme runs until 30 June 2027 or until the platform reaches HK$1 billion in assets under management, whichever comes first.
How Chocolate Finance’s Hong Kong platform works
The platform has no lock-in period or minimum balance, allowing users to start with HK$100. Returns begin accruing the day after funds are deposited, with users able to view their returns daily.
Withdrawals of up to HK$50,000 per day are usually instant under normal circumstances, with no penalties or handling fees, according to the company. Users can also open an account within minutes through iAM Smart.

“Hong Kong is a global financial hub with no shortage of savings and investment products. However, we saw a gap between what these traditional products offer and what people in Hong Kong actually want today,”
said Tim Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Chocolate Finance Hong Kong.
Chocolate Finance expands beyond Singapore
Chocolate Finance manages more than HK$10 billion (over S$1.6 billion) in assets and serves more than 130,000 users, according to the company.
The fintech has expanded beyond Singapore into Hong Kong and the UAE, bringing its cash management platform to more markets.

“As we expand from Singapore to Hong Kong, our commitment has remained the same. We are here to reshape how people view and manage their money,”
said Walter de Oude, Founder and Global CEO of Chocolate Finance.
