Hong Kong digital bank EleBank has opened its first physical store in Causeway Bay as it expands beyond online banking services and places greater emphasis on wealth management.
EleBank officially opened the location on 15 October, describing it as Hong Kong’s first physical store operated by a digital bank.
Spanning more than 1,600 square feet across two floors, the store allows customers to explore wealth management solutions in person. Customers can also continue accessing banking services through EleBank’s mobile app.
Facilities include a Digital Wealth Experience Zone, a market information display area, a financial education seminar zone and private consultation rooms.
EleBank shifts focus towards wealth management
Alongside the opening, EleBank introduced a new brand campaign, “Beyond Savings, Smart Earnings”.
The campaign reflects the bank’s strategy to move beyond deposit products and expand its wealth management services.
The bank aims to help customers make financial decisions through access to investment tools, market information and financial education.
Its wealth management offerings cover stocks, funds, foreign exchange, time deposits and cryptocurrencies, supported by digital investment tools.
EleBank said its approach combines round-the-clock digital banking access with face-to-face consultations at the new location.
EleBank also plans to offer educational content through online and offline channels to help customers better understand investment options. This will support customers in managing their finances according to their individual goals.
Justin Hu, Chief Executive and Executive Director of EleBank, said:

“The opening of the Causeway Bay Physical Store is an important extension of EleBank’s service, allowing customers to explore wealth management services in a relaxed, lifestyle-oriented space beyond the digital platform.”
He added that the bank’s broader wealth management strategy would provide customers with more financial tools and support when making investment decisions.
