XTransfer and Bank of China (Hong Kong) (BOCHK) have signed a cooperation agreement to expand cross-border financial services for businesses engaged in international trade.
The agreement covers global collections, payments and foreign exchange services for businesses in Hong Kong and other markets.
XTransfer Vice President Martin Liu and BOCHK Deputy General Manager of the Global Corporate Banking Department Winnie Fan signed the agreement during Hong Kong Fintech Week 2026.
Partnership to support cross-border trade payments
The collaboration will combine BOCHK’s cross-border settlement and foreign exchange capabilities with XTransfer’s global B2B settlement network and risk management system.
BOCHK serves as Hong Kong’s renminbi (RMB) clearing bank, and the partnership will draw on its cross-border settlement and foreign exchange expertise.
XTransfer said it is the first corporate partner to work with BOCHK under this cooperation model.
Both companies aim to simplify cross-border transactions, reduce costs and improve settlement efficiency for businesses managing payments across multiple currencies.
The agreement forms part of XTransfer’s Financial Institution Partnership Model, which allows financial institutions to contribute collection, payment and foreign exchange capabilities while accessing its network of more than one million business customers.
Financial institutions participating in the model can also use the network to reach additional businesses requiring cross-border financial services.

“We are very honored to sign the cooperation agreement with BOCHK during Hong Kong FinTech Week. BOCHK is one of Hong Kong’s most representative banks, with deep expertise in cross-border settlement and foreign exchange services,”
said Bill Deng, Founder and CEO of XTransfer.
“This cooperation combines the strengths of both parties, enabling SMEs to enjoy cross-border financial services of the same standard as large multinational corporations.”
XTransfer signed similar agreements with Bank SinoPac and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank at last year’s Hong Kong Fintech Week.
Ahead of this year’s event, the company said it planned further deals with international financial institutions to expand its clearing network.
