This relatively small nation boasts around 155 banks and more than 600 stockbrokers with over US$ 2 trillion in assets under management. In 2016 it was number one in the world for raising IPO funds (US$ 25 billion).
Hong Kong, therefore, holds significant opportunities for FinTech disruption and partnership, and we are excited to announce that we have signed Garry Grant as our partner for this region.
Gary will be leading the sales and onboarding of local FinTech talent in the Hong Kong area.
In an increasingly globalized ecosystem, we want to bridge not only time zones and language barriers but also our impact within in local FinTech communities.
This licensing partnership is only the first step in our expansion strategy and CEO Marcel van Oost, reiterated the international expansion plans;

“After the conclusion of our ICO, our plan is to expand as fast and as big as possible in the coming year. We will do this by signing partnerships with online (FinTech-) media and also license partnerships based on a per country/region basis.”

Marcel also emphasized the significance of this region for overall growth;
