Hyperlayer has raised US$26 million in a Series A2 round led by existing investor Flintlock Capital.
The round values the banking technology company at US$260 million post-money.
With this round, Hyperlayer has raised nearly US$66 million since October 2025.
Mouro Capital, Susquehanna Private Equity Investments, LLLP and other existing and new investors also took part.
It is the second time in 12 months that existing investors have backed the company.
Rob Rooney and Paul Rolles, who previously worked together at Morgan Stanley, founded the company in 2023.
Its technology allows banks to modernise without replacing the core systems that support their resilience and compliance.
Proceeds will go towards growing its product, engineering and implementation teams. Part of the capital will also support expansion in the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
As part of the deal, Joe Shamess of Flintlock Capital will join Hyperlayer’s board of directors.
Alongside the funding, Hyperlayer announced two leadership changes.
Louise Chan, a board director and the current Chief Operating Officer, will become Chief Commercial Officer.
Ben Helps, currently Chief Strategy Officer, will take over as Chief Operating Officer.

“We’re fortunate to be backed by deep experts in fintech. They’ve watched us go from a standing start to mandates with global Tier 1 banks in three years. That’s what’s convinced them to back where the company goes next,”
said Rob Rooney, Co-Founder and CEO at Hyperlayer.

“Leading this round, and joining the board, is us doubling down on where Rob and Paul take the business next,”
said Joe Shamess, Co-Founder and General Partner at Flintlock Capital.
