HashKey has launched a single crypto trading app that consolidates its previously separate HashKey Exchange and HashKey Global platforms.
The move allows users to access compliant digital asset services across Hong Kong, Singapore, the Middle East, and Bermuda through one interface, subject to their KYC, KYB credentials and local eligibility requirements.
Cryptocurrency exchanges have traditionally operated separate regional platforms due to differing regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
HashKey’s “multi-site unification” model combines the front-end user experience while keeping underlying services managed according to each market’s regulatory framework.
Users can download the new crypto trading app and manage accounts across HashKey’s Hong Kong, Global, Singapore, and Middle East platforms based on their verified credentials.
The system provides access to regional features according to applicable local requirements, while restricting access to services in jurisdictions where users are not eligible.
Consolidating regional crypto services
The unified platform standardises services across HashKey’s regional operations based on their respective licensing frameworks.
HashKey Hong Kong serves as the group’s base hub, focusing on spot trading and over-the-counter (OTC) services.
The platform supports fiat on-ramp and off-ramp services for four fiat currencies and around 40 digital assets.
It also offers wealth management services covering tokenised assets and compliant on-chain financial products for retail and Professional Investors.
HashKey Singapore focuses on OTC block trading and supports same-name virtual accounts.
The platform offers OTC trading for 21 cryptocurrencies, with minimum orders starting from US$10. Single-transaction limits are set at up to US$8 million for individual clients and US$50 million for corporate clients.
HashKey Middle East provides spot trading and proprietary brokerage services, while HashKey Global focuses on derivatives trading for international users while maintaining restrictions for users in regulated jurisdictions.
Adding Web3 wallet services
The updated app also introduces a Web3 wallet service portal that operates separately from HashKey’s centralised exchange services.
The wallet provides users with access to on-chain applications while maintaining separation from exchange operations.
HashKey said the launch represents a milestone in its “Asia Connect” strategy, which aims to strengthen its digital asset infrastructure across Asia and global markets.
The Hong Kong-listed company said it will continue expanding its compliant digital asset services by leveraging its presence across regional financial hubs.
