Cyberport, a digital technology hub in Hong Kong, announced that it will cooperate with the members of the Cyberport Technology Network (CTN), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Polygon Labs, and Ant Group to launch two Web 3.0 transformation and support programmes at the recent Hong Kong Fintech Week.

Firstly, the “Web2 to Web3 Enablement Programme”, is a collaboration between Cyberport, AWS, and Polygon Labs. It aims to help large enterprises adopt Web 3.0 technology by matching them with Web 3.0 startups based on their needs.

AWS will provide its cloud resources to large enterprises and recommend suitable Web 3.0 solutions, while Polygon Labs will provide access to blockchain technical expertise.

Secondly, the Cloud Database Migration Lab/Sandbox Programme, is a collaboration between Cyberport and OceanBase, a distributed database developed by CTN member Ant Group.

It will provide Cyberport community members with access to a dedicated sandbox environment where they can experience advanced features of OceanBase’s distributed database on Alibaba Cloud.

The first ten subscribing companies will receive a one-month free trial worth approximately HKD 5,000, as well as free technical support and consultation services.

In addition to the two programmes, Ant Group Digital Technologies will also provide a Fintech Week Special Offer worth HKD 2 million, covering Web 3.0 products and services including ZAN Smart Contract Review, ZAN eKYC, ZAN KYT, and ZAN Node Services.

This will allow Cyberport community members to have access to Ant Group Digital Technologies’ ZAN solutions at an affordable price.

The two programmes will provide large enterprises and startups with the resources and support they need to succeed in the Web 3.0 era.
