Digital bank Ant Bank and embedded financial solutions provider Bettr have been selected to participate in Hong Kong’s GenAI Sandbox++, focusing on the liquidity risk management track. The Ant Bank Better partnership will deliver granular daily forecasts, supporting more precise liquidity planning for the bank’s real-time treasury management.

Ant Bank will use Ant International‘s Falcon Time-Series Transformer (TST) AI Model 2.0 to enhance its FX and liquidity management capabilities.

Bettr’s Platform Tech will support the deployment of Falcon TST 2.0 for Ant Bank’s treasury team to enhance liquidity planning.

Ant International recently introduced TST 2.0, saying the model achieved state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance on the Mean Absolute Scaled (MASE) metric, a measure of forecasting accuracy, on a leading public benchmark for time-series AI models. The company shared that the model reached a forecast accuracy exceeding 93%.

The GenAI Sandbox++ initiative was launched by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority with the Securities and Futures Commission, the Insurance Authority and the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, in collaboration with Hong Kong Cyberport Company Limited to encourage AI adoption across the territory’s financial industry.
