SBI XDC Network APAC has partnered with South Korean blockchain infrastructure firm DSRV to develop enterprise solutions on the layer-1 public blockchain XDC Network.
The collaboration will explore cross-border use cases in trade finance, supply chain management, and digital asset tokenisation across Japan and South Korea.
SBI XDC operates within the SBI Group to drive the deployment of enterprise blockchain solutions across the Asia-Pacific region.
DSRV, its partner in the collaboration, operates as a registered Virtual Asset Service Provider with the Korea Financial Intelligence Unit. The company specialises in validator operations and digital asset services.
Validator role and network operations
Under the agreement, DSRV plans to join the XDC Network as a validator around the second quarter of fiscal year 2026. The South Korean firm will participate directly in network operations.
The company aims to strengthen its engagement with the XDC Network by contributing to infrastructure operations and broader ecosystem development.
Both entities noted that enterprise adoption of blockchain technology requires practical use cases that address concrete industry challenges alongside technical capabilities.
Focus on trade finance and tokenisation
The partnership will draw on the respective networks of both companies to identify opportunities for corporate clients.
Key initiatives include exploring solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency and data reliability in business-to-business transactions. These efforts will focus on trade finance and supply chain management.
The companies will also assess the potential of tokenisation technologies. They will examine support models for cross-border business collaboration between the Japanese and South Korean markets.
SBI XDC stated that the joint effort is designed to foster new enterprise use cases. It will also support the continued growth of the XDC Network throughout the region.
