As a Sales Director, you will drive Talos's future revenue growth by engaging with the prospects, understanding their requirements, and turning them into effective users of the Talos platform. Responsibilities
  • Execute and continuously refine a high-impact sales strategy using both qualitative insight and quantitative data.
  • Build and manage a balanced pipeline of strategic accounts and mid-to-large institutional prospects.
  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach to negotiation and close—across hedge funds, crypto funds, sell-side brokers, and institutional trading firms.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and validate client needs; translate requirements into clear commercial opportunities.
  • Develop deep expertise in Talos products, technical components, trading workflows, integrations, and competitive landscape.
  • Navigate high-velocity opportunities in crypto-native environments as well as long-cycle, complex enterprise deals; engage confidently with senior executives and key decision makers.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Client Success, Engineering, and Business Development to influence roadmap, accelerate adoption, and ensure seamless client outcomes.
  • Maintain strong post-sale engagement: support onboarding, help clients activate trading workflows, and ensure successful early usage.
  • Actively hunt for new business: cold outreach, networking, events, conferences, and in-market relationship building.
  • Travel as needed across Hong Kong/APAC to drive pipeline creation and revenue growth.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of enterprise SaaS, electronic trading, capital markets, or institutional sales/business development experience.
  • Strong interest in technology, capital markets, and trading; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Working knowledge of end-to-end institutional trading workflows: execution, portfolio/risk management, treasury/settlement, on-chain custody, and post-trade analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate—and thrive—in a fast-paced, high-autonomy, high-accountability environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management ability.
  • Established network of buy-side and/or sell-side relationships in crypto or TradFi is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in regional APAC languages beyond English (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian) is highly valuable.
  • High empathy, strong listening skills, and a consultative, problem-solving approach to understanding client workflows.
  • Familiarity with the crypto ecosystem and trading infrastructure is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
