OSL is seeking two diligent AML Officer - Transaction Monitoring to strengthen our first line of defense against financial crime. You will play a critical role in monitoring transaction activity, investigating suspicious behavior, and ensuring our operations remain secure and fully compliant with regulatory standards.
- Transaction Monitoring & AML/CFT Analysis: Conduct daily monitoring of transaction flows and client accounts. Perform in-depth analysis and investigation of suspicious activity alerts.
- Market Surveillance: Monitor the company’s automated trading systems for potential market abuse or manipulative behaviors.
- KYC & Risk Assessment: Assist in the periodic review and risk assessment of client profiles, ensuring adherence to KYC standards.
- Policy & Procedure Enhancement: Work closely with the Head of Compliance to develop, implement, and enhance AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls.
- VPN Usage Reviews: Conduct periodic reviews of Virtual Private Network (VPN) access to ensure compliance with internal security policies.
- Regulatory Liaison & Filing: Assist in maintaining regulatory registers and preparing necessary filings. Support interactions with regulators and law enforcement as required.
- Project Work: Contribute to compliance-related projects, including the implementation and enhancement of surveillance systems (e.g., transaction monitoring tools, on-chain analytics).
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in AML/CFT transaction monitoring and/or surveillance within a regulated financial institution (e.g., bank, payment service provider, securities firm).
- Strong understanding of AML regulations, KYC principles, and financial crime risks.
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills with a high attention to detail.
- Experience with on-chain analytics or blockchain investigation tools (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic) is a plus.
- Familiarity with the digital assets (Web3) industry is a plus.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACAMS, CFE) is a plus..
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field.
